2020 Shoe Drive

Hello! Thank you for joining forces with us to help collect new, used, and gently worn shoes for our drive!

We have compiled this list of frequently asked questions for your reference:

• How can I help?

-Join our Facebook group, to help spread the word to friends and family, invite friends/family to this group, donate your new, used, and gently worn shoes. Click here to join. 

-Help gather one bag filled of 25 pairs of new, used, and gently worn shoes. 

• What is this shoe drive?

-This shoe drive is a 60 day fundraiser, we are collecting new and gently used shoes to be donated to impoverished countries. This drive will help with efforts to raise money for PPE with our Frontline United initiative.

-We have partnered with Funds2Orgs, LLC. Learn more about them here 

• Where can shoes be dropped off? 

-24/7 In Wellington, Ohio at the Wellington Police Department lobby located at 117 Willard Memorial Square, Wellington, OH 44090.

• Can shoes be mailed? 

-Yes. They can be mailed to our PO Box:

*If you mail, please leave a name and address for thank you letter and sticker.

• Will someone come pick shoes up? 

-Yes, depending on your location. We are offering “Porch Patrol” in Lorain County, Ohio and Kent County, Michigan: it is an option for those who can't make it to a drop off location, we will pick up from your porch!

*To schedule a pickup, email shoes@policepictures.org and a team member will get back with you to schedule a pickup.

• Do I receive anything in return for donating? 

-Yes. You will receive a thank you card and a thin blue line flag sticker in appreciation of your support!

• When does the shoe drive end? 

-Our final day is August 28th. Shoes cannot be accepted after this date.

-We invite you to clean out your closet at your earliest convenience. 

• Where will the shoes be going, who benefits? 

-The shoes will be donated to micro enterprise partners in developing countries. This helps impoverished people start and maintain, and grow businesses.
